"The casita is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The pool area is well maintained and was a lovely spot to while away the afternoons after exploring the local area. Peter and Mary are great hosts, making us feel very welcome and providing advice when needed. A great location for touring this beautiful area. Highly recommended."

The villa is situated in a perfect location. Easy driving distance to Granda and Cordoba, the beautiful walks along the Via Verde and a few minutes on foot to the stunning town of Priego which has everything you could wish for in terms of bars, restaurants, interesting museums and spectacular baroque churches. The villa itself has every amenity for a comfortable stay, is spotlessly clean and the hosts, Pete and Mary, cannot do enough to make you feel at home. Their hospitality was put the test when we were stranded by the volcanic ash problem and they were so kind in enabling us to stay on in the villa. What could have been a bit of an ordeal was turned into an extra weeks great holiday with their generous support. "

This is a lovely little villa in a wonderful location. Peter and Mary are excellent hosts and on hand if you need anything as their own villa is almost joined on. Their welcome pack was more than adequate, it kept us going for days with both food and drink. The villa, pool and grounds are all spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Priego is just up a very steep hill, 10mins on foot or 2mins by car. It is a beautiful town with lots of interesing architecture and some fatastic restaurants. Thre are plenty of individual shops to buy typically Spanish goods without it ever feeling too touristy. The area is excellent for sightseeing with castles, local restaurants and pristine white pueblos being standard. There is a fantastic fort at Alcala, and a Roman villa at Almedinilla, both are almost on the doorstep."

Superb Location in Peaceful surroundings on the outskirts of Priego De Cordoba. Villa was spotless as were the patio and pool areas. Welcome pack exceeded all expectations and was exceedingly generous. Comfortable and well equipped, we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Priego is a fantastic Spanish town set in beautiful countryside with a relaxed and oh so Spanish feel full of great Tapas Bars and Restaurants. The hosts, Peter and Mary were the icing on the cake. A big thank you to them for making our stay all the more special. See you again soon - Austin & Jayne"

"Peter and Mary were fantastic! They were welcoming, friendly and so helpful with recommendations for restaurants or places to visit. Every time we set off into town for dinner in the evening we were offered lifts there. They had also provided a welcome pack for us, which we didnt expect, and this contained everything from basics such as bread and milk to wine, beer and even ice cream! The villa and pool were lovely and just a 5 minute walk into Priego, which is a gorgeous, typical Spanish town with winding cobbled streets and flowers on all the houses. Well definitely be going back!"

Mary and Peter have created an excellent modern villa that is bigger than the photos suggest and it is very private. The pool and terrace are bathed in sun all day and the parasols provide welcome shade in the heat of the day. Priego is a traditional Spanish town that has fine selection of places to eat and enjoy a refreshment or two. It is suited to those who want to experience the real Spain. There is good sightseeing within driving distance - Cordoba and The Alhambra were both worth a day to explore and exceeded our expectations. Mary and Peter are excellent hosts with a wealth of local knowledge and nothing is too much trouble for them, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all the fruit fresh from the garden - thank you!

Verified Homeowner
Why is Lupain Holiday Rentals the only holiday rental company to verify the ownership of holiday accommodation? Research has shown that not all advertisers are genuine. There have been cases where people have booked holiday accommodation only to find out it does not exist.
This sort of ‘scam’ is hard to comprehend but these days fraudsters are coming up with ever more imaginative ways of obtaining money by deception from innocent people like you. We do not want holidaymakers who book with us to fall victim to this type of scheme. Money is mostly hard earned we know, so taking a holiday is usually a major expense. In addition, we do not want you to remember us for a shattered dream.
Therefore, in order to protect you we have introduced our Owner Verification Scheme. We ask all holiday home advertisers to submit proof that they own the property they are advertising. Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
We take this Owner Verification Scheme very seriously for your protection. If you have any doubts about the validity of an advert or misrepresentation please contact us with your concerns.
Please note, Lupain Holiday Rentals does not verify the advertisement content placed on this website by property owners, nor do we offer any guarantee as to the correctness of the advertising information placed on this website by third parties.
