Ardencraig is a traditional 1-bedroom apartment with an additional child's bed in lounge recess and bed settee in lounge. Situated in a stunning scenic seashore location, it has views overlooking the Western shores of the Isle of Bute and along the seashore to the adjoining village of Tighnabruaich to the North and the island of Inchmarnoch to the South. Open the windows in the morning and enjoy your coffee and croissant with the sound of the Oystercatchers and waves lapping on the pebble beach just some 10 metres from the front door of the building! The apartment is in a quiet location on Shore Road with the Kames Hotel only 5 minutes walk away - or maybe 10 if you walk along the beach! The Kames Hotel also hosts music and seasonal functions. The excellent Kames store is about 10 minutes on foot. The apartment is a wonderful place to stay for rest, relaxation and recreation

The beachside appartment in Kames is a wonderful retreat for two. The views over the Kyles of Bute are truly stunning. I loved to listen to the sea while having a tea at the bay window. Our stay there really calmed us down. As soon as we arrived we forgot all about the city stress and enjoyed the peace and quite of this magnificent place.
Recommended for: Age 55+, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great Winter Week
Date of Stay: January 2010
Stayed here in the last week in January and was lucky with blue skies and stiil seas. The view from the flat is spectacular and we loved siiting at the dinning table for breakfast and dinner and looking out across to Bute.
There are so many places to walk to from the apartment so you can abandon the car for afew days and head down to the penninsula or up in to the hills. The village shop is just a couple of hundred yards away and the hotel has a great bar and good food.
We visited lots of places near by and particularly liked the coast around Colintraive and Lochgoilhead where there are more good pubs and restaurants.
For some where so close to Glasgow you really feel like you are away from it all. Really recommend it , enjoy !

In addition, we do not want you to remember us for a shattered dream.

Therefore, in order to protect you we have introduced our Owner Verification Scheme. We ask all holiday home advertisers to submit proof that they own the property they are advertising. Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.

If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process.
