'Les Poiriers' is a pretty, stone house set in a hamlet, whose large garden has far-reaching views over the beautiful countryside of Limousin. Combining traditional features and modern facilities, the property provides the perfect haven for relaxation. Outside the garden is perfect for unwinding over a glass of wine or having fun on the trampoline. The area also provides something for everyone, from riverside walks, to a drink in a town square, to water sports or digging sandcastles at a lake.
The house is within 10 minutes drive of Fougeres beach on Lake Eguzon. Here in season there is bathing, a diving platform with diving board, restaurants, a children's playground, all in a beautiful setting. There is a free ferry to the other shore at Chambon, or a 20 minute drive from the house, where there are various water sports, sandy beach, play equipment, water slide, bar. This is a no smoking property. The property is suitable for children as there is a large garden and a selection of games inside and out. Take care with small children on the stairs. Besides the wood burner, there are heaters in all rooms and electric blankets for our Winter visitors. For Summer use fans are provided. We also have bikes a trampoline and decent sized paddling pool.

Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
