Local Area The town of Albox is 5 minutes drive away. You will find plenty of supermarkets and shops, both English and Spanish. There are a host of bars and restaurants, serving everything from a full English breakfast to Indian, Chinese and of course Spanish cuisine.
There are two bar/restaurants 10 minutes walk away and the traditional village of Partaloa is 5 minutes drive where there are a handful of bars nestled in the winding streets.
There are horse riding stables 10 minutes away, with facilities for lessons, pony treking and hikes.
A new bowling alley is 10 minutes away.
The water park and go-karting are just 30 minutes away.
The coastal towns of Mojacar and Garrucha are 30 minutes drive away, with the water park at Vera playa 35 minutes drive.
Golf There are 4 golf courses, all within 40 minutes drive.
Desert Springs and Valle del Este are 35 minutes drive.

Skiing Sierra Nevada is 2 hours away, ski season runs from November to April, but well worth a visit all year round. There are 16 nursery slopes, 36 blue runs, 42 red runs and 9 black runs and also a snowboard park. After your days skiing there are plenty of bars and restaurants to relax and soak up the sun. You can ski in the morning, sunbathe in the afternoon and relax in the jacuzzi in the evening.
