Local area There are goods supermarkets (Erosky centre and Erosky city) within 1km of the house. Banks, chemists etc are all in the Puerto Pollensa. There are numerous good restaurants in Puerto Pollensa and Pollensa old town. It is well located here for other activities such as walking, cycling and bird watching.
Cala St Vincent is a quiet coastal area surrounded by mountains with pine-clad ground sloping gently to the sea.
There are two coves where you will find sparkling shallow water which is great for families with young children.
With convenient parking, a choice of restaurants, sun-loungers, and parasols to hire, everything is there for you to enjoy a relaxing day in the sun.
Places of interest. Coast/Beach
Contained within 10 square kilometres, the region stretches along the coast to Alcudia from the golden beaches of Puerto Pollensa (only 2 minutes driving). There are lots of water sports on offer here from jet skiing to windsurfing and the beach has good facilities including beachside cafes, sun bed hire and pedalos. There is also a prestigious sailing club here if you would like to give this a try.
Golf
Nearby Pollensa Golf is a 9-hole course with wonderful views over the Tramuntana Mountains, olive groves and Pollensa bay.
Pollensa Old Town, a few kilometres inland is set against the dramatic backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains. The town has narrow, cobbled street, pretty squares and ancient architecture and seems a world away from the more modern tourist areas. Placa Major, the main square, has a Sunday morning market where you can buy souvenir handicrafts or fresh local products such as cheese, olives and Mediterranean vegetables to sample at lunch.
