There are children's play areas dotted around the resort. This new resort is close to the town of Sucina which has a direct road from the main motorway near the coast. Murcia is a fascinating region, historic Cartegena to the south and Murcia city only 25 minutes to the north, or take the scenic mountain road for stunning views. Or how about a glass bottomed boat trip from La Manga into the Mar Menor and out into the Mediterranean? Beaches on the Mar Menor offer warmer temperatures due to the shallowness of the water.

This new resort is close to the town of Sucina which has a direct road from the main motorway near the coast. Now open is a supermarket on site only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. For a wider choice there is a hypermarket close to San Pedro which is 15 minutes by car. Also open is the Woodhouse bar for a relaxing drink next to the golf course.
Now Open in 2011 - refurbished Hacienda building with golf Pro-shop and restaurant and bar. You can take a free shuttle bus to the other older Polaris resorts to enjoy these facilities. There are many local markets on most days of the week in nearby towns. Further afield are the Water Park and Nature Park near Murcia.
Prices are for the property per week / night in UK pounds. Minimum charge of 3 days. Discounts are available for 2 weeks or more. There is a mandatory exit clean charge of 65 euros (leave in apartment). Cot and high chair are no extra charge. Price includes air-conditioning, utilities and WiFi wireless internet.
Golf The Hacienda Riquelme golf course is one of 9 that form the Nicklaus Golf Trail, the full 18 holes opened in June 2008. Staying at one resort means you can play any of the others, they are all within a short drive. Also open now are Mar Menor, La Torre and El Valle courses. Polaris offer discounted green fees during Summer with their 'Twilight' promotion after 3pm. At Hacienda Riquelme this includes half-price golf buggy hire which is very good value.
There is a set of clubs in the apartment for guests to use.
