This unique architect designed property is set in it's own desert garden surrounded by orange groves in a small private estate close to a typical sleepy Spanish hamlet. The extensively furnished shaded terrace will be where you will want to do most of your dining, looking out over the swimming pool and for the sun lovers there are plenty of loungers and patio furniture to laze on. The desert garden has giant Cacti and mature palms, oranges, lemons, mangos, banana, pomegranate and olive trees as well as oleander bushes, masses of climbing bougainvillea and a rosemary hedge which provides plenty of herbs for the BBQ! A wrought iron spiral staircase leads to the vast upper solarium and furnished terraces where you can view the vivid sunsets over the spectacular mountain ranges of the Sierra de filabres in the evening whilst partaking of a cooling sun downer! All this and yet only a short drive to blue flag beaches, fishing villages, Spanish market towns and excellent bars and restaurants

The bedrooms are on two levels so children or the elderly do not need to go upstairs.
As an option the two bedrooms on the ground floor can have either 2 single beds and 3 single beds or a super king-size bed and 3 single beds.
There are masses of covered shaded terrace on which to relax as well as large sunbathing areas for those sunworshippers amongst you.
For the enrgetic we have a full size table tennis facility to keep you amused.
The villa is very secluded and is one of only six villas set in an orange grove each with over an acre of gardens.

Of interest in the locality Coast/Beach
There are many little resorts with wonderful quiet beaches within a short drive, you could visit a different one each day. The resort of Mojacar with miles of blue flag beaches and the fishing port of Garrucha is a short drive away, as is Agua Amarga with, what is said to be the best beach in Europe! San Jose in the Cabo de Gata national park is very laidback and Villaricos is a quaint little Spanish pueblo, for naturists. Vera Playa is a well known resort.
Vera aquapark is a 10 min drive away.
There are several world class golf courses in the region - some only 15 min drive away.
The internationally famous Desert Springs Golf Club, the challenging Valle d'Este golf course, the scenic Marina Golf overlooking the sea in Mojacar and the newly refurbished Cortijo Grande make this a golf lovers paradise, not least because of the year round sunny climate.
We would like to encourage golfers to come and enjoy the wonderful mid and low season weather which is perfect for sports.
Bars and reataurants Three minutes drive or a short walk away there is the excellent bar/restaurant, "Mi Casa", serving tapas and a good selection of meals including fresh fish and seafood for which the region is famous. The nearest town to Los Colorados is Antas, approximately 2 kilometres away. It is a small town, part new, part old, with several shops, banks, and bar/cafes and a small market .The very small local village of Al Jariz is also less than 1 mile away where you can buy fresh bread daily.For the foodies amongst you the region is well supplied with excellent restaurants. Garrucha is awash with seafood delights available all along the promenade for Menu del Dia lunches and seafood feasts in the evenings. About 3km away is the larger market town of Vera, with with supermarkets and all the usual facilities including a large market on Saturdays, here you will find the region's favourite restaurant Terraza Carmona which has won many accolades for its very inventive regional Spanish dishes

The villa is located just 5 mins off the main E15 motorway which links Alicante and Almeria.
Cheap flights available from Easy-jet and Monarch to Almeria and Alicante. Ryan-air flies to Murcia and Almeria.
