Los Arcos is situated on the Church Square and is readily accessible by car. Válor is a typically Alpujarran village in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Outside
The roof terrace is some 85 sq.m., and is kept looking beautiful all year round with dozens of pot plants. There are plenty of tables and chairs, sun loungers and sun shades. Just inside the roof terrace door is a small refrigerator which acts as a complimentary mini bar for our guests. It is stocked with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Coast/Beach
Several beaches can be reached in about one hour by car. The highest point on the road, Puerto de la Ragua can be reached in about 40 minutes. This is at 2,000 metres above sea level. From here, depending on the time of year, you can walk, cross-country ski or even get a Husky dog ride.

The Alpujarras area of Andalucía in southern Spain is famed for its white, Moorish villages. One of Válor’s claims to fame is that it is the birthplace of Aben Humeya, the notorious Morisco rebel (also known as Hernando de Córdoba y Válor), who led the 1568 revolt against the Christians.
Válor is situated in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains at the eastern end of the Alpujarras. It is a typical, picturesque Spanish village with a few shops, bars and restaurants. The village is surrounded by terraced farm land, much of which is still worked using traditional methods.

Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
