This is a lovely, fully equipped house set in a peaceful residential area, located near the sea and mountains, away from the large touristic centre, in a natural environment, with a front and back garden. This is an ideal holiday location for those who admire nature, sea lovers, for walkers, golf lovers - 8 min from the nearest golf course, swimmers -beach just 7 min away, 8 min from the local airport, only 7 min from the motorway and all that Madeira has to offer. The house offers spacious accommodation and is furnished to a contemporary standard. The 1st floor holds 3 bedrooms fully furnished and accommodates 6 people. There are 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a balcony. A cot and highchair can be provided on request. The ground floor has a spacious open plan living area and adjoining dining area. Next to the fully equipped kitchen, we have a pleasant Summer room with wickerwork furniture ideal for relaxation. There is also an utility room and guest WC.

With all long term renters a weekly change of bed linen and towels and cleaning will be provided. Additional nights are subject to availability on request, and change over day is flexible. A 30% deposit must be paid to secure the booking and is non refundable after 5 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is paid in cash on arrival. In addition we charge a refundable deposit of €150 to cover breakables or damage. On your departure day, the deposit will be returned if everything is in order. This is also paid on arrival. ARRIVAL ARRANGEMENTS -
As part of the package there will be a welcome pack of breakfast provisions. On arrival, if a car was rented, you will be met at the airport and there will be a follow me procedure. All water, electricity. gas and cable expenses are included.
The charming seafront town of Santa Cruz with its traditional Church built during the “Manuelino” period and Town Hall with its primitive 16th Century construction over looks the court house built in a colonial style, is one of the town’s landmarks. Near the sea front, there is the covered fish, meat and vegetable market, supermarket, restaurants, bars, post office, banks and cash machines, medical centre and promenade. A pleasant walk along the promenade leads to the only Water Park of the island. To the North, we have the well known Santo da Serra Golf course and 15 Minutes to the west, we have Camacha, worldwide known for its wickerwork. The genuine folklore singing, dancing and music can also be seen here. Further inland, one can explore the Levadas or irrigation channels which cover the whole island. Funchal, the cosmopolitan capital of Madeira, is only 15 minutes from Santa Cruz.

We loved our stay at Villa Sara. The house had everything we needed, wanted and much more. It was wonderful just relaxing in the garden or in the summer room after a long day. We leave Madeira knowing we have made new friends and will be back next year.

Why is Lupain Holiday Rentals the only holiday rental company to verify the ownership of holiday accommodation? Research has shown that not all advertisers are genuine. There have been cases where people have booked holiday accommodation only to find out it does not exist.
This sort of ‘scam’ is hard to comprehend but these days fraudsters are coming up with ever more imaginative ways of obtaining money by deception from innocent people like you. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
