Villa Collecimino is a spacious, self-catering, detached property with swimming pool, located in 3.5 acres of orchards, olive groves and agricultural land on top of a hill 550 metres above sea-level, with stunning panoramic views of the Appennine mountains on one side and the Adriatic sea on the other. Every room has a terrace where you can dine, sunbathe or just enjoy the beautiful views of Abruzzo. It is just 40 minutes from Pescara airport, 30 minutes from the beaches and 40 minutes from the mountains. The villa consists of three separate self contained apartments each with their own private entrance. The apartments can also be rented together (at a discount) - ideal for a holiday with extended family or with groups of friends. Please see our own website for more details. Guests are welcome to make use of the gardens and grounds surrounding the property. There are proper roads all the way from the airport to Villa Collecimino - no dirt tracks to negotiate!

There are no steps within the apartment - all rooms are on one level. Access to the apartment is via a stone staircase on one side of the apartment or through the patio door on the other side, at ground level. There is a good selection of books, games and jigsaw puzzles available. We provide a handbook giving lots of information regarding local attractions, restaurants, walks, etc. The Scandinavian Plunge Pool is available from mid/end May to mid September.

A fantastic week on our first time to Abruzzo, the apartment is very well equipped and had everything that we needed for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The view from the patio (apt. 3) is beautiful and we will be returning to Abruzzo as soon as possible to discover more of this wonderful area, one week alone is not enough! Thanks for a great stay, we will be back.

Thanks Annie & Marek - we had a lovely time at your villa. Apartment 3 had everything we required to enjoy our stay. Fantastic views and plans for first day were put on hold to relax and take it all in. Cian, our 6 year old did not want to to leave and loved the plunge pool and the view (he said!). We thought San Georgio and Abruzzo were wonderful! We thought the villa was excellent. The layout was perfect for us all, and the views were breathtaking. We thought the apartments were very well equipped, and we really enjoyed exploring the local towns and villages. Thanks for making it such a wonderful reunion; it really was the perfect spot.

Thanks for the amazing hospitality! It has been the best of both worlds, mountains and beaches. A truly relaxing getaway. I have enjoyed experiencing rural life in Italy. I will especially miss the views to wake up to very morning. Many thanks.

The villa is super - large, airy and spacious and well equipped. The 'red file' is invaluable - the instructions, advice and directions are spot on - thank you. Abruzzo is a truly beautiful part of the world. The views change with every hairpin bend and the myriad of different hues of green is fantastic. We will certainly recommend Abruzzo and Villa Collecimino (although you almost want to keep it a secret!).
