THE VIEW from Clint Lodge is as close to perfection as you will find anywhere.
The forests and hills that roll southwards as far as the eye can see to the border with England, are unsullied by modern day requirements that so often conspire to disfigure our landscapes.
Here the panorama changes only to accommodate the seasonal demands of Mother Nature.
Clint Lodge was built by Lord Polwarth in 1869 on an elevated position overlooking Mertoun Bridge which spans the River Tweed; a perfect retreat for visiting shooting and fishing parties.

Clint Lodge is a distinctively up market and exclusive hideaway, popular with individuals, families and parties travelling to the Borders to take advantage of its historic and sporting attractions, and thoroughly deserving of its 4-star Scottish Tourist Board ranking.
