Six of the suites are set around a pool and sun terrace with a further 2 in the Manor House which has a long historic past. Originally built for the Marquis de Pombal's Chaplin, and owned by many of the Portuguese Aristocracy. Located in the village of Melecas, is within walking distance of 5 cafes and 4 restaurants. A train station in the village, is a 10 minutes walk away and provides links to Lisbon Sintra, Mafra and Obidos. Sintra is a 10 minute journey by car and a vast selection of beaches can be found within a 1/2 hour drive. Breakfast is served, on a B&B basis, in the Entrada and comprises freshly baked bread, cereals, fresh fruit, cheese, ham, freshly squeezed orange juice, tea and coffee. Room prices include breakfast (on a B&B basis) and are for 2 guests sharing a Suite. Additional persons under 16 years old are an extra 15 euros a night, 16 and over are 20 euros each a night. Suite prices are for the Dom Fernando Suite; Sr Miguel, Dona Maria and Count Fernanado Suites are 10 euros a night more; Dove Cote and Sr Meira Suites are 25 euros a night more; Marquis de Pombal and the Adega Suites are 30 euros a night more. Good transport Links Close to Lisbon, Sintra, Quluz, Mafra and with good train links from the village station to these and other places of interest including direct to Obidos. Many beaches are available within a 1/2 hr drive or a little longer by train/bus/tram.

Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
