Local Area Praia da Luz is a lovely family resort and the beach at Luz along with many bars,restaurants and shops are an 8 minute walk or less. The beach is long and sandy and ideal for families and backed by a lovely tree lined prom, great for an afternoon stroll and a drink at a beach bar! All the bars and restaurants are family friendly and you can take your pick from casual relaxed beach bars through bistros to more formal fine dining.The historic town of Lagos, a 10 minute drive away, has numerous restaurants, a beautiful marina, nightlife and historic ruins. It is also a lovely place for an evening stroll around the bustling streets with street entertainers, atrists and vendors.
