Out and about While many people visit us just to enjoy life on the farm there is also an enormous amount to do locally. Countryside enjoyment starts with some of the best walking and cycling in the country on a network of bridleways and footpaths which start on the doorstep. There's a trekking centre in Flash so you can enjoy the same on four legs. The less experienced can sign up to a week's course of riding lessons at the local school. Get involved in local farm life: watch milking, visit farm shops and the mushroom farm, or try your hand at some alpaca husbandry. This is great badger country: in the evening, there's nothing as exciting as watching the dusk exodus of tens of badgers off on their nocturnal rounds. We're surrounded by some of England's most beautiful and exciting country houses. Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Little Moreton Hall, Biddulph Grange, Gawesworth Hall, Capesthorne Hall, Tatton Park, and Lyme Park are all within 40 minutes drive. Alton Towers theme and amusement park 30 minutes.
Transport The nearest airport is Manchester International (one hour by car): good services to London, Europe, USA, and the Middle and Far East. East Midlands Airport is just over an hour away. Macclesfield station (20 minutes drive) is on the London-Manchester-Scotland main line (London 2 hours). Buxton station (10 minutes by taxi) is at the end of a local line from Blackpool and Manchester. Avis have a car rental office at Macclesfield station. Enterprise Car Hire operates a local pick-up service.
Why is Lupain Holiday Rentals the only holiday rental company to verify the ownership of holiday accommodation? Research has shown that not all advertisers are genuine. There have been cases where people have booked holiday accommodation only to find out it does not exist.
This sort of ‘scam’ is hard to comprehend but these days fraudsters are coming up with ever more imaginative ways of obtaining money by deception from innocent people like you. We do not want holidaymakers who book with us to fall victim to this type of scheme. Money is mostly hard earned we know, so taking a holiday is usually a major expense. In addition, we do not want you to remember us for a shattered dream.
Therefore, in order to protect you we have introduced our Owner Verification Scheme. We ask all holiday home advertisers to submit proof that they own the property they are advertising. Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
We take this Owner Verification Scheme very seriously for your protection. If you have any doubts about the validity of an advert or misrepresentation please contact us with your concerns.
Please note, Lupain Holiday Rentals does not verify the advertisement content placed on this website by property owners, nor do we offer any guarantee as to the correctness of the advertising information placed on this website by third parties.
