This a spacious third floor apartment with two twin bedded rooms and communal pool, located in Deryneia, a Cypriot village situated 45 minutes from Larnaca airport (2 hours from Paphos airport) and 15 minutes from the eastern seaside resorts of Protaras and Ayia Napa. Access to a rooftop terrace gives fabulous views of the village, the countryside and the distant 'ghost town' of Famagusta. The village centre is 5 minutes walk away. It offers numerous shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, an ideal way to sample traditional Cypriot hospitality. It is in a good location for seeing the whole of the island. Ideal for couples and families who like to be close to the main resorts but also wish to be able to relax in peaceful village surroundings. The apartment is comfortably furnished and boasts everything that you should require on your holiday.

The area Other places of interest in Deryneia are the Folkloric museum and the Cultural Centre of Ammachostos.Deryneia is close to the border with Northern Cyprus and if you want to know more about th Turkish invasion in 1974,Anita's viewpoint is worth a visit. The coastline around Protaras and Ayia Napa has numerous bays and long stretches of fantastic sandy beaches. Many offer watersports and are ideal for snorkelling in the crystal clear water.Boat trips are offered right along the coast. Our favourite is the 'yellow submarine', a semi submarine where you can go downstairs to watch the fish. Deryneia has many shops and supermarkets close at hand.Protaras, Ayia Napa and Paralimni have large shopping areas.There are waterparks in both Protaras and Ayia Napa.The area is good for walking and cycling especially around Cape Greko
Bars/restaurants Staying in Deryneia you get a fantastic opportunity to sample traditional Cypriot hospitality. Our favourite is the Square bar with an extensive menu of Cypriot fayre and 'pub food' to suit all tastes. There is also Costaris restaurant, Fernagi tavern, the Vinery, Eterno and the Local.Kapparis,Protaras and Ayia Napa all offer endless choice of bars and restaurants.
Travel Car hire is highly recommended if you want to make the most of your visit. There is a bus service that runs between Paralimni and Larnaca which stops in Deryneia.To travel to the coastal resorts by bus you would need to get a bus from Paralimni.

The apartment was equipped with simply everything that we needed and the cleanliness was of a high standard which is important to us. My sister and I were very comfortable in our separate twin bedrooms and to be honest some days we were happy to stay 'at home' moving between the apartment, the pool area and my personal favourite - the roof top paradise! We had a few trips into Ayia Napa and did some lovely coastal walks before the sun got too hot and retiring to the local Square Bar and our pool.

Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
