Recommended bars/restaurants We located in the heart of the Manhattan with Restaurant row in a few blocks and tons of different restaurants around.
I recommended excellent Japanese restaurant "Natsumi" at 50 street between 8 av and Broadway to one of our guests.He was asking for a nice close by Japanese restaurant to celebrate his wife birthday. This is what he wrote back. Welcome to use it as your guide:
' It had a good feel, good waitstaff and great sushi. We also ate at the Wondee Siam that's a couple of blocks south on the west side of 10th that was a great Thai place. Really good tham yum soup and pad thai.Our favorite though was an Italian/French place down on 45th and 9th called Nizza. Great atmosphere, great staff, the guy running the place, not sure if he was the GM,or owner, but he was a great host, and the food was delicious." Very good Indian restaurant "Tabla" at 11 Madison Ave. Very good French restaurant www.cognacrestaurant.com at 55 str.&Broadway, Italian "Murals at 54" at 54 str.&6av.

We have spent a wonderful week in this apartment. We were 7 and all the family was so happy to live there. It was very comfortable and so nice. The views from the apartment and from the roof were magic. Bathroom is very well equipped. It was like as we were at home. We have found all what we need. Irina and Laura are so kind, it has been a pleasure to get in touch with them. I think that everyone who goes in this apartment will love it.

Six of us enjoyed the Hell's Kitchen apartment for a weekend in December. Ah, Christmas time in NYC. I was thoroughly happy with the arrangments. And the neighborhood: in easy walking distance to the theatre, Central Park, a local farmer's market, great neighborhood restaurants and a natural foods store that was excellent. We didn't spend that much time in the apartment but when we did the view was truly awesome. The building is siutated in such a way that you actually get sunshine and light streaming in the windows.We hope to stay at Irina and Laura's place in the future. Irina, you were great! Thanks for everything.

Hi Irina & Laura, We stayed at your apartment from 1st-12th dec 09 & would like to say what a fantastic time we both had. The view is just amazing and the property had everything we needed for a fantastic holiday. The location could not be better, close enough to EVERYTHING! but at the same time it was peacefull to relax in. We would reccomend this property to anyone visiting the city, don't waste your money on expensive cramped hotel rooms!. It was really nice to also meet you and we thank you for all your help both before & during our trip & we hope to see you again later on this year so thank you again from your friends from the uk rachel & jamie moffat.

Firstly, I'd like to thank Irena and Laura for allowing us to reside in this property during our stay in New York. The apartment was fantastic. Myself and 5 other friends were very comfortable and the location was perfect. Especially for cabs!! You can walk across the road and can hail a cab in under 10 seconds. It was great. The apartment was clean, centrally located within walking distance to some fantastic restaurants, very safe and warm during the winter days (we were there for New Years!) I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to visit New York.

Laura and Irina, Sorry to be so late to say my aunt and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in your apartment during our annual visit to NYC. We definitely hope to stay in your rental when we return in November. Having the convenience of a kitchen and living room space was much better than the expensive hotel rate we usually pay. We stayed at the flat from 19th to 31st Jan 2010, me, my wife and my daughter.The view from the flat is a spectacle apart. Breathless! Deserves the lots of photos we’ve taken. The location could not be better, close enough to all the attractions New York offers to you, within walking distance to some fantastic restaurants and the theaters at the Broadway, but, at the same time, peaceful to relax in. Very safe and warm during the winter days and very easy for taxis.We found the flat very clean, and the property had everything we needed (linens, kitchen, supplies, etc).We are already planning a return, in a warmer season.In a few words: It was simply, the best.
