"We stayed at the lodge with our two children. The lodge was absolutely clean and well maintained. We appreciated having two bathrooms and separate bedrooms for the children. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything about the lodge and surroundings has exceeded our expectations by far. It was only a 10-minute walk to the great beach, which was never crowded. Also very close to the New Forest. We would recommend to visit Stonehenge in Amesbury, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Lulworth Cove with Durdle Door as well as the Isle of Wight. "

"We have just returned from our honeymoon in this lodge and thought it was wonderful. It's in a lovely quiet position on the edge of the park with lots of greenery and wildlife to watch (we saw rabbits, foxes and pheasants). Just what we needed for a relaxing get-away-from-it-all break.
The lodge itself is a cosy home from home, fully and thoughtfully equipped with all you may need including microwave and washing machine, as well as books, a large selection of DVD's and CD's and games, paper and pencils (for our daughter to have fun with). There's even a torch for late night strolls back from the bar or beach. Plus you've got a brolly just in case you weren't prepared for the British weather.
Last but by no means least, the holiday was excellent value for money and included entertainment passes too (current price £32 for family of four or £17 per person). On site, there's a well-equipped gym, indoor pool, amusements, pool table, bar/restaurant, bistro, children's entertainment (holiday seasons), laundry room, swings and slides etc for the children and a reasonably-priced convenience store with everything from newspapers to buckets and spades.
We hope to go back again later in the year and have no hesitation in recommending the lodge to anyone like us looking for a relaxing getaway.
Thanks John for a great holiday!! Stewart, Hazel & Briony

"My family and I had a wonderful holiday in this lovely log cabin. My wife never minds where we stay on holiday but she always says if its not clean we are not staying there! This lodge was spotless and very comfortable. Beds were made up on arrival. You will need to bring your own towels, as they are not supplied.
There was plenty of room for my three daughters to play in the lounge. The owner supplied a travel cot and there was also a hand blender which was great for baby meals. Allot of consideration was
put into the needs of the holiday maker in this rental.
There was so much to do locally and on site. The swimming pool was visited many times also was the park. A choice of three was available.
The children loved the kids club. There was also a restaurant and a bar. I even went to the hair dresser on site. The beach was about 20 mins walk for children but the water is not great for little ones. We decided that it wasn,t safe but had great fun looking for unusal stones and flying kites.
A great family holiday was had in this rental. Thank You"

"The lodge was perfect, with everything we needed including a washing machine and digital TV . It was very clean and well looked after.
The site has plenty of activities in peaceful surroundings. It is nice and quiet although if you want to have a drink/entertainment it is a 10 minute walk to the bar and reception (at the other end of the site).
A fishing pond that so well stocked that the carp regularly jump out. My son caught 10 fish in one afternoon and it was his first time.
Our son also did archery and rifle shooting tuition which costs £10 for two hours.
Swimming pools (indoor & outside heated) are available.
There is a woodland walk which you can get a bit lost in (no signs).
Food served on site is poor, but the Smuggler pub resturant in nearby Milford-on-Sea is good. Local Ringwood Best Bitter is also worth a try. Milford also has an off licence, chippy, Indian, Thai and supermarket (the on site Spar shop prices are slightly higher as you'd expect).
Nearby Lymington is a lovely small town with a marina and ferry service to the Isle of Wight (best to book at least the day before). We got a return deal that cost £25 for a car, two adults and child (12 noon to after 6pm).
We would love to go back sometime and I will certainly recommend it to family and friends. Only wished it was a bit nearer to home.

The lodge is well equipped and there was enough space for all of us. It is situated in a nice and quite area of the park. We really can recommend it.
There is so much to do and to see in the area. By car you'll reach the New Forest in less than 15 minutes.
You can take lovely walks on the cliffs or along the beach.
If you like to go fishing, there is a pond in the well looked after holiday park.

"We spent 2 weeks in the lodge & experienced a great family holiday. The lodge was very clean and in a quiet location within the park. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the main facilities but you can drive and park if you wish. There are numerous facilities on site (we used the outdoor pool which is very good) but in the main we ventured further afield for things to do. The sandy beach at Southbourne (eastern end of the miles of beach at Bournemouth) is a lot quieter than Bournemouth centre and is dog friendly. We went to the local beach (not sandy) on sunny week-end days to avoid the traffic and crowds..we swam in the sea here and is great for cliff top walks and views. The nearest sandy beach is at Mudeford (dog friendly at eastern end). We paid a first ever visit to the Isle Of Wight & had a great day visiting Godshill (inland, don't miss this interesting village), a donkey santuary, Ventnor and Shankin..the Lymington ferry was good and we used our Tesco Clubcard points in advance to benefit from £4 for £1. Could have done with 2 days on the island on reflection. We went for 2 New Forest walks and found the Jarrold short walks book for the area to be ideal. Portsmouth is a great day out if the weather is not the best..the views from the Spinnaker Tower are awesome with lots of things to see and do in the immediate area. The shopping at Southampton is very good. The meals at the nearby Royal Oak at Downton were excellent and the Smugglers Inn at Milford very good. For football fans we went to games at Bournemouth & Southampton (take the ferry at Hythe for a totally different match day experience) which were enjoyable. The area has a variety of things to do which, together with good accomodation, gave the ingredients for a great family holiday (we have 15 and 12 year old boys). I would recommend this lodge to family and friends & if we lived closer would consider buying a holiday home on the park. "

"I came across Amberwood by chance just looking for somewhere to go for my wife’s birthday after a bad year and noticed the price and ability to book what days we wanted.
We arrived Tuesday late afternoon it was dark and poring with rain and when we went inside the temperature was just 12 degrees and flickering lights, there was no central heating but what looked like night storage heaters, my wife wanted to go home at that point, there was no instructions on how to turn any heat on so it was commonsense from here and found they were electric heaters and after the first day the place was really snug. We found the place to be very clean and with all amenities.
We had a great time here and done a lot of walking, the park is very good as well, the only really big let down is that its nearly all booked for 2010."

"We have just returned from a weeks stay at the lodge and what a fantastic time we had. We arrived at the lodge quite late after a very long journey and what a wonderful sight it was cannot fault it in any way, the owners have thought of everything. The location is fab so quiet and peaceful but only a 15 min walk to the indoor pool and entertainment area. We ate in quite a lot as it was so nice to just sit on the terrace and chill. Our 2 children had a ball, swimming in the outdoor pool and exploring the site. Milford on sea is a short walk through the woods and I would reccomend a meal at the Smugglers Inn we had a superb Sunday roast. We went ultimately to visit family who live a short drive away and we all met up and went to Paultons Park the local theme park which was brilliant, we also went to the New Forest wildlife centre which was a good day out and drove to Friars Cliff beach on one of our hotter days. We will definitely be recommending this lodge to family & friends as well as returning ourselves in the near future."

Inside was everything we needed and everything was clean and in working order. We can recommend the Smugglers Inn in Milford for food - a fantastic ploughmans! If you want to use the gym on site you have to book an induction - when I tried the day after arriving they had very few times available so suggest you get in quick if you want to use it. Would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing break at a location that's within a short drive of many New Forest attractions."

"We have just returned from a week's holiday and can find no fault at all with this accommodation. It was spacious, clean and had everything you could think of in a self-catering lodge. It was set right at the back of the park and you could take a 10 min walk to the (pebbly) beach which was lovely for the kids. It was quiet and peaceful and my husband loved the fishing lake literally 1 minute down the road. The indoor swimming pool was nice and clean but for once the kids didn't want to go swimming as they were more than happy riding their bikes around the lodge and down to the park. We were extremely sad to come home and wished we had booked a 2 week holiday there - would definitely recommend the lodge and would hope to go back there again soon."

"We had a 4 day break at the Lodge at the beginning of September and had a lovely time. The lodge was spotless, well maintained and had everything we needed - it was exactly as described in the Property Details. It is in a nice quiet position on the park and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The site itself was very clean and tidy. We would love to stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and relatives!"

"The lodge was everything it was advertised as - clean, well equipped and ideally located for exploring the local countryside.
Staying in minus temperatures it was great to come back to a warm lodge after a days outing in the beautiful Dorset countryside.
I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a relaxing time or wants to be out and about."

"I would like to say thankyou very much for the wonderful stay my family had in Dane lodge.
We could have not asked for anything more with this holiday. The lodge was so clean, comfortable and warm.
All the facilities were first class. The whole Park was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly.
The location was central to all that we had planned to do.
We would very much like to return to the lodge hopefully in 2010."

"Had a lovely stay here during the last week of June. The cabin is at the far end of the park which is great - nice and quiet and a pleasant 10min stroll to the main facilities.

"Well appointed, clean comfortable cabin in a good (quiet) location on a large, clean, well kept site with lots of amenities. The owner was very helpfull, as; on our arrival we found the toaster not working. He provided us with a replacement the next day. We found it an exelent retreat after days out exploring the nearby south coast and new forest with the kids. "

"Lovely positioned lodge, clean and well equipped for family holiday. Very quiet location on edge of holiday park. Used facilities of park including both swimming pools, bar, bistro, onsite shop.
Wednesday night entertainment of Bagga Bluze (outside cabaret) was of high standard.
Hope to return at future date. "

Verified Homeowner
Why is Lupain Holiday Rentals the only holiday rental company to verify the ownership of holiday accommodation? Research has shown that not all advertisers are genuine. There have been cases where people have booked holiday accommodation only to find out it does not exist.
This sort of ‘scam’ is hard to comprehend but these days fraudsters are coming up with ever more imaginative ways of obtaining money by deception from innocent people like you. We do not want holidaymakers who book with us to fall victim to this type of scheme. Money is mostly hard earned we know, so taking a holiday is usually a major expense. In addition, we do not want you to remember us for a shattered dream.
Therefore, in order to protect you we have introduced our Owner Verification Scheme. We ask all holiday home advertisers to submit proof that they own the property they are advertising. Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
We take this Owner Verification Scheme very seriously for your protection. If you have any doubts about the validity of an advert or misrepresentation please contact us with your concerns.
Please note, Lupain Holiday Rentals does not verify the advertisement content placed on this website by property owners, nor do we offer any guarantee as to the correctness of the advertising information placed on this website by third parties.
