Surrounding area The Chateau estate is situated at the edge of a quiet little village called Ginestas that has a general store, post office, bank, boulangerie, restaurant, bar-brasserie, hair-dresser and the ubiquitous poodle parlour. Situated in a stunningly beautiful and relatively undiscovered part of Southern France, it is surrounded by vineyards and is only 5 minutes from the World Heritage site, Canal du Midi.
On site restaurant the Chateau has it‚s own Restaurant called Les Pratx‚ which is ideal for night's off‚ from cooking and where guests may enjoy courtyard concerts that are arranged throughout the summer months.
Getting there 15 minutes from the bustling City of Narbonne and 40 mins from Carcassonne. The long sandy beaches of the Mediterranean are only 25 mins away and in the North, a spectacular area of mountains, forests & gorges called Le Parc Naturel Du Haut Languedoc. It is only an hour and a half from the Spanish border and 2.5 hours drive to Barcelona.

Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
