Miramont has a picturesque fishing lake and many sports facilities including soccer, rugby, tennis, basketball, badminton and handball, also in July/Aug horse riding, canoeing, biking and tree top activities. Within 5 minutes walk there is a sparkling clean municipal pool centre which has 3 pools for all ages with table tennis tables and a sweet shop. The house is situated perfectly to sample the gastronomic pleasures of the region and to soak up the history of the many chateaux, historic towns and wine tours (St Emillion - the world heritage site is 50 minutes away).There are also many interesting and beautiful places for day trips or if you are house-hunting this is an ideal spot from which to explore. Other activities close by include, golf (at one of the best courses in France 20 mins away), fishing, hot air Ballooning July/Aug, cycling and numerous swimming lakes. There is a water park, bowling alley and karting in Bergerac - 35 minutes away - and the larger Walibi is 1 hour away.
