The apartment is a second floor (lift)apartment with completely stunning views from the balcony overlooking the 18th green, 10th fairway, driving range and looking down towards the Mar Menor sea. La Torre is a Jack Nicklaus design course in a 5 star gated community with a variety of lakeside restaurants, bars and shops and an Inter Continental Hotel all just two minutes walk away.
The apartment is air conditioned and centrally heated throughout and has a balcony with mountain views off the 2 bedrooms. The sandy beaches of the Mar Menor are 15 minutes away, the cities of Murcia and Cartagena are 30 minutes away and the interntional airports of Murcia and Alicante are 20 and 50 minutes. There are 22 communal pools within the resort many of which have a jacuzzi or childrens pool and an indoor pool in the hotel. There are also tennis courts. Things to do within 30 minutes Must experience the unspoilt beaches of the Mar Menor or the rocky coves of the Calblanque national park. Murcia and Cartagena are well worth a visit as is the Espuna Mountain national Park. If you are into golf, play the Bears Trail 4 (soon to be 6) Jack Nicklaus design courses linked to the La Torre golf course and by free minibus. Experience the wine trail of the Jumilla and Bullas vineyards. Try the therapeutic mud baths at Lo Pagan.
Places to eat etc Authentic Spanish cuisine on the Mar Menor. There are plenty of suggestions in the information pack for seaside reataurants. On site, there are restaurants of many different nationalities including a tapas bar and an Irish sports bar and there is also fine dining at the Inter Continental Hotel. (Also try the Spa at the hotel/gym and indoor pool at the hotel).
Murcia San Javier (20 minutes)is the nearest airport and is small and efficient with many budget flights. Alicante is 50 minutes. High speed trains go to Madrid in 3.5 hours from Murcia. La Torre is very well served with a network of motorways making driving very easy.
