There is about six acres of gardens, including landscaped, woodland, field and swimming pool. We are within walking distance of shops, bank, post office, and cafes/restaurant.
There is a private barbecue and seating area for guests with great views of the Sibillini Mountains. The Adriatic coast is about 45 minutes drive away at Porto San Giorgio where there are a number of excellent fish restaurants.
Towns like Perugia, Ascoli Piceno, Assisi, and Rome are all within easy travelling distance. The owners live in an apartment on the property but give sole use of the facilities to their guests. They are always ready to assist with restaurant recommendations, driving instructions, local events and so on. They will even consider babysitting so that you can have some quality time together.
The gardens have many fruit trees including figs, plums, apples and pears and guests are welcome to whatever is in season. The house has two external porticos both with excellent views.
Skiing In winter, Sassotetto - just a few miles away from Sarnano - is a popular ski resort ideally suited for beginners, both young and old. It may not be the kind of place where everyone changes into a new ski outfit every few hours, but there is loads of fun to be had for every level of skier.
