•The prices above are for 3 PEOPLE sharing the accommodation. The apartment accommodates 6 people. There is a supplement of €6 for the fourth, fifth and sixth person for each night.
A Deposit of 30% of the total rental price must be made within 5 days to secure a booking and the balance must be paid 6 weeks before check-in at the accommodation.
When a booking is made within less than 6 weeks before check-in, the total payment is required within 5 days and it is non-refundable.
Payment is in EUROS by a bank to bank transfer to a Portuguese account.
Communication of cancellation: clients wishing to cancel must communicate this in writing immediately to the managers of the property.
No need to hire a car! : If you do not want the hassle of driving and parking on your holiday this apartment could be your answer. It’s 10 minutes from shopping centres such as ‘Anadia’ and the Zona Velha packed with restaurants, bars even with Fado performances. If you do not walk all the time, the public transport including cable-cars from the bottom of the hill where the apartment is up to Monte is excellent and reasonably priced. The taxi fares in the city are reasonable too. And to come back down from Monte you might consider the world famous toboggan ride! To come to the apartment from the airport and return there is a public airport bus which again is reasonably priced.
Funchal - so much to see and do!: Some recommendations for things to do include: whale and dolphin watching, land and boat fishing, swimming in the ocean and indeed with dolphins, levada (irrigation channel walking), pamper yourself in a spa, visit the world famous Jardim Botanico, Monte.

My husband and I had a lovely stay in this apartment. The apartment itself is lovely and spacious and very clean. It had everything you could possibly want and the pool and gardens were lovely. Wonderful Madeira

Everything was great. There were all necessary comforts and the view was ecxellent. The rooms were in perfect order and we didn´t even have to clean after ourselves. I would deffinately recommend it. The food in the restaurants was delicious and I really recommend to try fish. The service was fabulous everywhere. The only bad thing was the hill we had to march up every day. But I really liked everything else.
Recommended for: Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

My husband and I felt a bit greedy booking a three bedroom apartment for just the two of us but the location and facilities appeared to match what we were looking for.
The apartment was amazing.
Very spacious, very clean and in an ideal location just 10 minutes (even for me) from the Market. When self catering it is good to know that the kitchen facilities are sufficient but these far outstripped our expectations, the huge fridge and freezer were a revelation and coming home was a bit of a let down.
We had good use of the balcony (huge) but only got to use the pool once as the sun was a bit low to fully heat the pool at this time of year.
On Paul and Ivas recommendation we took a half day taxi trip to see the north of the island but generally we used the service buses and pottered to Camara do Lobos and Machico (excellent) and Ribera Brava (out of season).
Thank you to Iva who picked us up from the airport and made us feel so welcome, and to Paul for making the organisation of our visit so smooth.
Not only would we recommend the apartment to our friends, we also recommended it to a couplde we met on a walk while there -
All the comforts of home, with all the luxury of a good holiday.
We better not recommend too fast, though, or we won;t be able to visit again...

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!

We have been to Funchal many times, but this was the best place we have stayed in. It was very large and well appointed with all the things you could need for a comfortable stay.
The location was perfect, near the old town (and the Pingo!) and just a bit further to the Harbour.
The whole place was very clean and quiet, the gardens and the pool were lovely.
We cooked in a couple of nights and sat on the balcony with a drink the other people lit little lanterns on there balconys and it had a relaxing atmosphere.
We will be back again, this time with our son and his family, as there is loads of room for us all.
