The property is located in tranquil countryside within a stunning panorama encompassing: the Castillo de Santueri, the monastery of San Salvador, an old convent on the poplar tree-lined mount of the Calvario overlooking Felanitx, traditional Mallorcan farms and wooded areas of pine and Mediterranean oak. If you wish to get away from organised tourism and recapture a feeling of living in the old Mediterranean then you can find no better place to stay. On a warm, balmy evening after an active day you may care to sit and chat over a bottle of local wine and we can acquaint you with the history, ancient and not so ancient, of this magical place and of the characters who did or still do live here. Or you may just wish to lay in silent awe of a star filled night and quietly contemplate the serpentine Milky Way and catch the occasional glimpse of a shooting star. Active, passive, social or private the choice is entirely yours.
Outside The guest house has its own outside private terrace and dining area overlooking gardens, vineyards, farmland and woods and has a magnificent view of the mountain monastery of San Salvador. To the West side of the house is the large 10 by 5 metre salt pool with ample sun terrace shared with the owners. Close to the pool is a shady wood, an ideal place to lose yourself in quiet meditation or a good book. If you want something a little more active, but you don't want to take the car, then you can wander the lanes and woodland or even take the old track up to the monastery, have a snack or meal at the restaurant and be home in plenty of time for supper.Coast/beach
Beaches (15 to 20 minute drive) at Porto Colom, Porto Petra and Cala D'or. Many more beaches including the famous Es Trenc within 30 minutes drive.

Special interest holidays The owners of the property (us) have extensive interests including art, writing, cooking and science. We have a large collection of fiction and non-fiction literature that you may use with care.
For those interested in art: if we are given prior notice, a list of your requirements and a budget we will be happy to acquire materials such as paints, canvases, brushes, clay etc to be available during your stay. For the novice we will be happy to impart what knowledge we have to get you on your way.
We are very interested in cooking especially oriental food, Indian, Thai, Malayan and Chinese and generally carry a large store of spices. If you wish we can arrange lessons and provide the ingredients and facilities to some traditional recipes.

Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
