Notes on Amenities :
The villa is fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect vacation. There is a large summer kitchen and BBQ, private swimming pool which can be heated for the cooler months. This must be requested it is not automatic and there is a small additional fee for this.
From Comares it is possible to visit Granada, Seville, Ronda and Cordoba. Lake Vinuela is 15 minutes by car and the beautiful restorts of Nerja, Frigiliana and Marbella are all within reach.
Comares has a number of bars and restaurants. Our recommended restaurant is El Molino de los Abuellos, located in the main square of the village. This is an old converted Olive Mill which oozes atmosphere. It is run by very friendly owners, the surroundings and views are breathtaking and the food is superb. It should not be missed. Also try the fantastic tapas in Los ventorros and the family run and very reasonable Bar El Mirador de la Axarquia which has an amazing terrace.
A car is essential at this villa. There are buses to Velez Malaga and Malaga from Comares village.

This was one of the best holidays I have had. The service received was very friendly and extremely efficient. The accomodation was gorgeous with an excellent pool. The location was absolutely stunning with breathtaking views of the countryside. There were excellent bars and restaurants in Comares, a very historical and interesting village. The people were friendly and welcoming in the village which made the stay even more pleasurable. I couldn't really say what I liked best because everything about it made the holiday such a great experience - the service, accomodation and the setting. The thing I least liked about the holiday was having to leave. I usually like to go to different places each time I go on holiday but because it was so great I would definitely go there again.

We had a wonderfull stay in this house, well located on the top of a small hill, enjoyed a nearly permanent light wind.
We had chance to make some daily trips for visiting Sevilla, Cordoba, Ronda, Malaga and Granada.
Children enjoyed it too.

This is a secluded villa nestled high in the
mountains with breath taking views that continually
change depending on the weather and time of day. My
husband & I stayed here with our 4 children for
2weeks oct/nov. It was 2 blissful weeks. The house was spacious, well equipped and
had an ample supply of towels & linen. The pool is
gorgeous & it was great to have the BBQ. The
Village of Comares is just a few Kms away and well
worth a visit. A car is essential if you stay here. We loved this property and
are looking forward to returning.

The e-mail contact with the owners was perfect, very friendly and with the right information.
Arriving in the house, the pool was heated, the house was very clean and we felt at home the moment we opened the door.
In the house, everything was present for a perfect holiday. Outside barbeque, washing machine and a dish washer, very well equipped kitchen, good furniture and good beds with more than enough towels for us. The only minor point was the satelite receiver, that did not work, so we had no television during our stay. But that was more than compensated by the view over the hills. The house, standing on a very good location gives you the feeling of total freedom. Shops are nearby and also Comares is a very nice place to visit, with a very good restaurant. We love to come back in this very well equipped house, so we booked again for a week in january and also an other vacation in may next year. Highly recommanded.

I will get to the point. The house is perfectly equipped, very comfortable and spacious. The location is very calm and the views are gorgeous. The service was just perfect. I was received with a smile and they made sure I was leaving with a big one. I had a small problem when the electricity failed and as soon as I called they were there and solved the problem immediately. They helped us to get wood for the fireplace and gave us all information about the house and the surroundings.
I reccomend staying in this villa without any doubt. I will for sure return.

Lovely home, lots of space, great pool and amenities. Lovely area next to Comares, high in the hills of Andalucia. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Was central enough so that we could coordinate day trips to Granada, Cordoba, Gibraltar, coastal towns, etc. Comares is a lovely town.

We liked the house a lot. It was, as described - spacious, clean and well equipped. Also the beds were big and comfortable. But the best of all was the heated pool. Makes a holiday with kids in spring or autumn so much more relaxed. You have a great view from the house - especially from the big terrace on the roof. The contact to the owners was very friendly, very fast and always helpful. We'd definitely come back there.
The little village Comares is very pretty, much more picturesque, than we expected. Don't leave out the restaurant "El Molino de los Abuelos". It's just at the entrance of the village on the little main square. It' so tasteful with a beautiful garden. The panoramic view is terrific and the two owners run it so friendly. And last but not least a phantastic menu with meals which would deserve a couple of stars ... - great cook!!!

The villa was lovely and well equipped. Check in really easy and all our needs attended to, nothing was too much trouble. Views from the terraces are fantastic and add to the atmosphere for evening barbques and gatherings. Comares is a lovely village to visit and have a coffee or a meal. If you want to push the boat out and treat yourselves try the hotel in the square for fantastic food and amazing surroundings.
Many beaches accesible in half an hour or so . Perfect!

Verified Homeowner
Why is Lupain Holiday Rentals the only holiday rental company to verify the ownership of holiday accommodation? Research has shown that not all advertisers are genuine. There have been cases where people have booked holiday accommodation only to find out it does not exist.
This sort of ‘scam’ is hard to comprehend but these days fraudsters are coming up with ever more imaginative ways of obtaining money by deception from innocent people like you. We do not want holidaymakers who book with us to fall victim to this type of scheme. Money is mostly hard earned we know, so taking a holiday is usually a major expense. In addition, we do not want you to remember us for a shattered dream.
Therefore, in order to protect you we have introduced our Owner Verification Scheme. We ask all holiday home advertisers to submit proof that they own the property they are advertising. Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
We take this Owner Verification Scheme very seriously for your protection. If you have any doubts about the validity of an advert or misrepresentation please contact us with your concerns.
Please note, Lupain Holiday Rentals does not verify the advertisement content placed on this website by property owners, nor do we offer any guarantee as to the correctness of the advertising information placed on this website by third parties.
