The kitchen opens onto a wide terrace equipped with BBQ facilities, armchairs and dining table; this is the ideal area for outdoor self-catering. Big garden with rose bushes, flowers, apple-trees, plum-trees and delicious fig-trees, here you find the 4 m. large pool to cool off for the adults and to have fun for children with plenty of sun-beds to take sun or relax reading a good book.
The second floor has two double bedrooms, one family-room with elevated floor space with one extra bed.and the main bathroom.

Casa Patrizia has a large private parking.
The 300mt country road leads right into the middle of a picturesque borough composed of 4 semi-detached stonehouses surrounded by the beautiful countryside.
The farmhouse lovely grass garden and terraces are equipped with sun beds and enjoys a beautiful view of Pratofiorito mountain, the enchanting sight is completed by the presence of a vivacious wild life, various types of birds, squirrels and marmots benefit of the garden and the surrounding countryside.
The famous thermal baths of Bagni di Lucca, which have been used since the Etruscan and Roman times, is the perfect place to visit for a relaxing and peaceful experience and offers also beauty and wellness treatments.
The nature reserve Orrido di Botri is 15 minutes away and is worth a visit. See the gorge and wonder at the wildlife.
Borgo a Mozzano is approximately 20 minutes away by car,(SS12 that leads you to Lucca) and has the famous bridge Ponte della Maddelena, also known as The Devil's Bridge. The town hosts a beer festival every year during the summer. Three days in April there is an exhibition of Azaleas with beautiful displays of numerous varieties of flowers, the 1t May you will find also a Baccalà Sagra (grilled stockfish, wine and all kind og food)and in October the largest Halloween festa in europe.
Grotta del vento is worth a visit, they are underground caves deep in the Garfagnana, with tours lasting between 2-3h.

The house has many original features and furniture with newly installed heating system and bathroom units. There are two fig trees. The location is tranquil and high, set close to the top of the tree line with views the mountain tops across the valley.
Cassiano has a good grocers and a couple bars which will look after you well.
Nearby village of Montefegatesi is well worth a visit.
We had a very good vacation and enjoyed living in the simplicity of the house where everything worked as it should and was very clean.
Patrizia is a lovely lady and a great help if help is required.
We would recommend it to anyone looking for a low cost good value house.

We stayed in Casa Patrizia in August, and enjoyed it 100%! A lovely old beautifully restored Tuscan farmhouse, which had all necessary for us as a family to enjoy. We relaxed at the house mornings, had lunch in nearby villages like Borgo A mozzano, Bagni di Lucca, an old Thermal Spa village with great pools for family like ours, and even went to Lucca, which was a full day excursion. And many evenings we went to the local restaurant in san Casiano, 4 min drive away, to enjoy really homemade italian cooking at the local family owned and run restaurant.
We loved the peaceful quietnes of Casa Patrizia and its souroundings, excellent also for our family BBQ.....But most of all we loved the peacefulness of this place, and the closeness to all the interesting sites around us!
We definetly plan to come back!

We arrived in May for a 2 week holiday with family and friends. When we arrived we were greeted by Patrizia, who made us all feel very welcome. She were extremely helpful and provided excellent service.
We loved the place, it was a wonderfully restful break from the rush of urban life. The tranquil settings helped us all to unwind an settle into a idyllic pace of life. The house if professionally looked after and everything was in perfect working order - it felt more like a home than a holiday let.
A lovely place to stay, wonderful natural beauty everywhere. We loved it all. Thanks a lot.
