In Gallura there are many interesting Ancient Sites, amongst Nuraghic, Domus De Janus , Toba Di Giganti (tombs of Giants), Bizantine and Roman.
There are lots of local festivals and all are invited, the Gallurese are known for their warm hospitality.
About ourselves. We are Vittoria born in Sassari, Sardinia and David born in London,U.K., and spent most of our lives living and working in Highgate London, where we raised our 4 children and operated our 'Haute Couture' business, designing and making to measure, hats and clothes for all the famous social events.
During our.25 years together, we have always spent our holidays with our 4 children in Gallura. Starting with a month the first, year, everyone fell in love with Gallura, and when our children had grown, and our annual stay reached 3 months, we decided to come to live in Gallura. Our children and their families still come regularly, “on holiday” to see us, despite the fact that they are spotted all over the world, and love to spend time in Sardinia.
We are only a phone call away from Mimosa, and with our 25 years of experience in Gallura are always available for advise and help of any sort. Although we are not the intrusive kind, if asked, we will happily recommend and give directions, for all sorts of ideas that you have; secret beaches, Sardinian restaurants, Ancient Sites, fiestas locally etc., so feel free to use us during your stay.
If you require any further information, please don’t hesitate to ask.

As a family of 4 we enjoyed our stay at mimosa, we found the accommodation comfortable and clean. Our children loved going to the beach, which was only a short drive from the house and especially liked swimming in the warm sea and playing with the sand. We found the local shops very handy, and loved eating outside on the patio where we could enjoy the stunning views and relax as a family, it seemed like a million miles away from the buzz of everyday life. We also liked having "home comforts" such as all kitchen utilities which meant we could prepare good meals easily and cotton sheets which prevented us from getting to hot at night. My husband especially liked the large shower and intriguing design in the bathroom. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at Mimosa and will be returning in the near future, a true home from home.

Verified Homeowner
Why is Lupain Holiday Rentals the only holiday rental company to verify the ownership of holiday accommodation? Research has shown that not all advertisers are genuine. There have been cases where people have booked holiday accommodation only to find out it does not exist.
This sort of ‘scam’ is hard to comprehend but these days fraudsters are coming up with ever more imaginative ways of obtaining money by deception from innocent people like you. We do not want holidaymakers who book with us to fall victim to this type of scheme. Money is mostly hard earned we know, so taking a holiday is usually a major expense. In addition, we do not want you to remember us for a shattered dream.
Therefore, in order to protect you we have introduced our Owner Verification Scheme. We ask all holiday home advertisers to submit proof that they own the property they are advertising. Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
We take this Owner Verification Scheme very seriously for your protection. If you have any doubts about the validity of an advert or misrepresentation please contact us with your concerns.
Please note, Lupain Holiday Rentals does not verify the advertisement content placed on this website by property owners, nor do we offer any guarantee as to the correctness of the advertising information placed on this website by third parties.
