In winter it is an authentic Pyrenean ski resort enjoying the best snowfall in the whole of the Pyrenees with a new high speed 8 man telecabine up to the ski station starting at an impressive 1850m for some great skiing/snowboarding for all abilities. Only 7km away by car or bus is the breathtaking Pont D'Espagne (National Park) with lush forests & valleys. In summer enjoy walks for all ages/abilities or pack your rucksack and go trekking, staying at one of the many mountain refuges. In winter it is a magical winter wonderland with over 36km of cross country ski runs, snowshoe/walking tracks, plus toboggan slope. The famous religious town of Lourdes is 30km north of Cauterets and closest airports are Pau & Toulouse

Why is Lupain Holiday Rentals the only holiday rental company to verify the ownership of holiday accommodation? Research has shown that not all advertisers are genuine. There have been cases where people have booked holiday accommodation only to find out it does not exist.
This sort of ‘scam’ is hard to comprehend but these days fraudsters are coming up with ever more imaginative ways of obtaining money by deception from innocent people like you. We do not want holidaymakers who book with us to fall victim to this type of scheme. Money is mostly hard earned we know, so taking a holiday is usually a major expense. In addition, we do not want you to remember us for a shattered dream.
Therefore, in order to protect you we have introduced our Owner Verification Scheme. We ask all holiday home advertisers to submit proof that they own the property they are advertising. Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
We take this Owner Verification Scheme very seriously for your protection. If you have any doubts about the validity of an advert or misrepresentation please contact us with your concerns.
