This beautiful farmhouse dates back to 1650 and has recently been restored (2009) to a very high standard retaining all the original features. It has a private swimming pool, large garden, a balcony with fabulous views of the Tuscan countryside, BBQ facilities, hammock with fabulous views plus several other outdoor seating areas.
The paved terrace surrounding the fully fenced pool also hosts eight sun loungers, dining area for 10 with a large pergola overlooking a vineyard and sunflower fields for those wanting a brief respite from the midday sun.
Entrance to the villa is at the top of ancient stone stairs adorned with traditional geraniums.

The house also has a library, games room, refurbished in 2010 with brand new fooze ball, pool table and table tennis.

There is a Patio with tables/chairs/umbrella at the back of the property overlooking fields. There is a balcony off fourth bedroom overlooking garden.
There is a newly refurbished games room including table tennis, table football, and pool table.
6 brand new bikes are available for guests to use plus 2 sets of golf clubs to use at the local course.
Sights of Interest The Villa is ideally located for Italian Renaissance Art enthusiasts.
Obviously, the Uffizi in Florence is a treasure house not to be missed, but staying here you are within easy reach of much of the Piero della Francesca Trail including Arezzo, Sansepolcro and Monterchi. Michelangelo's birthplace, Caprese, is also well worth a visit and close at hand. As well as the beautiful medieval town of Anghiari you are within an hour’s drive of Siena and an hour’s train journey will take you to Rome.
There are also many other beautiful medieval towns in the surrounding areas.
If you are a wine lover, you are of course only a half hours drive from Chianti.

Recommended Restaurants You will find lots of information at the house on the many restaurants and bars nearby.
All of the places we have visited so far have been wonderful so we often think it is a nice idea for you to explore yourselves although we would of course be happy to recommend one of our favourites!
Sports Lake Trasimeno is only a forty five minute drive away where you will find many water sports available or you can take a ferry across to the islands on the lake.
About a ten minute drive away there is a horse riding centre and a nine hole, golf course.
Although you have your own private pool, you might want to take a trip into Sansepolcro (about ten minutes drive) where you will find a large outdoor pool with waterslides and swimming for all the family.
