Our 3-storey house is a typical dwelling of the Amalfi area, part of a larger property shared by 2 owners but totally independent. About 1650 ft from town centre and slightly over 0.5 miles from Amalfi sea and beaches, it lies at the edge of the residential area in an elevated area of countryside reachable only on foot along a path that consists of 150 stairs. Part of a 17th cent. farmhouse, it is surrounded by a large lemon garden + patio + large terrace with a view of Amalfi valley and the sea (partial).
Amalfi residential area is spread along the base and the slopes of a narrow valley with steep, rocky walls, which descends to meet the beach and the sea below. Our house is found within this valley, attached to this steep, rocky slope, partly facing the coastline and partly surrounded by lemon terraces, a perfect place to enjoy the peace of the countryside yet being not far from the town center, the sea and the crowded streets/shops if that's what you want.

The beauty of Amalfi and its coast are world-renowned. Ravello, Positano, Capri, Pompei, Paestum can be easily reached either by bus (a very convenient and frequently run service) or by hydrofoil (summer months only).

PUBLIC TRANSPORT A very convenient bus service operates from Naples and Salerno to Amalfi and from Amalfi to neighbouring places of interest (Salerno, Ravello, Positano, Pompei, Paestum and Naples). Hydrofoil service available to reach Capri, Positano, Salerno and Naples. Only residents can park cars in Amalfi streets. Visitors can park their car in a pay-parking area (to be reserved).

Only when we are satisfied that an advertiser and their property is genuine do we add our Green Shield to their property advert. Apart from being a deterrent, it also encourages advertisers to make sure they verify their property, giving you peace of mind when you make your booking.
If you want to make a booking look for the Green Shield on the top right of the property advert, if you do not see our Green Shield it may mean we have not yet completed the verification process. We normally complete this process within a few days if no verification is forthcoming the advert is removed.
